It’s been a long season, and you did great.
All those early calls, late outs, load-ins in the rain and red-eyes to the next city. Every show that went up on time went up because of you. We see it, and we’re proud of you.
Crew looks out for crew, and that doesn’t stop when the trucks pull away. If you ever want to talk, someone is always there, free and confidential, any hour of the day:
US: call or text 988
Canada: call or text 9-8-8
US and Canada: text HOME to 741741 (US) or 686868 (Canada)
Mexico: Línea de la Vida, 800 911 2000
UK and Ireland: Samaritans, 116 123
Anywhere else: findahelpline.com
There’s help built for our industry too: Backline, Behind the Scenes, the Entertainment Community Fund, Music Support and Help Musicians.
And pass it on. Check in on the people you worked beside this year. Ask how they’re doing, and stick around for the answer. A good word from a crewmate goes a long way.
You’re not alone out here. You never were.
