Vetted crew. Built by crew.

The Loadout Network is a free directory and community for the people who build the show. Make your account, get vetted, and be on the list when Roll Call opens.

What it is

The Loadout Network lives inside Crew Quarters, the member area of Loadout Certified. It's a place to get found for work, find good people to work with, and keep the bar high on safety.

Every crew member who wants a listing gets vetted by a working rigger. References get called. Certs get checked. The people in Roll Call are people somebody will vouch for.

Fearless; never careless.

Who it's for

Working crew. Stagehands, riggers, carps, audio, lighting, and video/LED techs, wardrobe, props, spot ops, forklift and heavy equipment operators, and production managers. Union, non-union, or both.

People coming in from other trades. Mechanics, plumbers, arborists, landscapers, heavy equipment operators, and theater kids. If you've worked at height, run a machine, read a load chart, or built a set in a school auditorium, you have skills this industry uses every day. Tell us what you've done and we'll take it from there.

The people who hire. Crew chiefs, department heads, producers, and companies who want crew they can count on.

How it works

1. Make a free account.
Sign up for Overhire. It's free and takes about a minute.

2. Fill out the crew intake.
About five minutes. Your departments, certs, two references, and a few recent gigs. We use it to vet you.

3. Get listed in Roll Call when it opens.
Once you're vetted, your profile goes into Roll Call, the crew directory, with a vetted badge. Roll Call is coming soon. Getting vetted now puts you on it from day one.

How vetting and ratings work

Vetting. Anyone can make an account. Vetting decides who gets listed and who gets the badge. We check your references, your certs, and your work history. If we need more, we'll ask. Companies get checked too: registration, insurance, and references.

Ratings (coming soon). Ratings only come from verified jobs, so nobody can rate someone they never worked with. They're blind: neither side sees the other's rating until both are in. Crew and companies rate each other on four things:

  • Safety

  • Reliability

  • Skill

  • Communication

Scores don't show until you have enough rated jobs to be fair. Serious safety issues don't go into a score. They go to a private review, handled by a person.
